Shipping container fabrication & modification

Shipping containers at a port with cranes

The shipping container stopped being just a cargo box long ago: today it is a site office, tool room, lab, living module or equipment enclosure. At Indumor we treat the container as what it is — a steel structure — with every tool of an integrated fabrication shop.

Custom container-type modules

We fabricate modules with profile frames and formed sheet cladding: the dimensions you need, reinforced where your use demands it, with lifting points designed in so they move safely by crane.

Modification of existing containers

  • Openings: service doors, windows and side gates with reinforced frames — cutting a container without compensating the structure ruins it.
  • Reinforcement: floors for point loads (machinery, heavy racking) and support cradles.
  • Partitions and fit-out: dividers, workbenches, shelving and interior supports.
  • Repairs: damaged panel replacement, rails and crossmembers, doors and seals.

Why an integrated shop matters

Modifying a container properly takes cutting and bending for the panels, clean welding that does not warp the box, and epoxy paint that survives outdoors. All of that happens in our plant — the container comes in one gate and leaves ready through the other.
